Services

We are an independently owned private practice clinic specializing in a variety of evaluation and treatment techniques. Because we are privately owned, a great deal of time is spent on ensuring that the patient's needs are placed first. We strive for the highest level of care with the most modern techniques employed to maximize functional outcomes. This detail to personal attention has allowed Home Town Physical Therapy to develop a solid reputation not so common in many of the larger corporate-owned centers. Our services include not only physical therapy for musculoskeletal and neurological conditions, and occupational health services, but we also specialize in the following areas:

Fitness Conditioning Program

Industrial/Work-Related Rehabilitation

Neurological Rehabilitation

Orthopedic Physical Therapy

Spinal Rehabilitation

Sports Physical Therapy

Fitness Conditioning Program

The Physical Therapist's approach to getting and staying in shape. The targeted program helps the inactive or underactive prepare for increased physical exertion, including home exercise, by teaching the proper way to condition muscles. At the end of your program you will be able to safely continue your exercise routine at home, in the gym, or outside.

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Industrial/Work-Related Rehabilitation

Program entails job specific exercises that help an employee regain pre-injury competence, increase endurance, and help reduce the likelihood of repetitive movement injury from reoccurring.

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Neurological Rehabilitation

Neurological rehabilitation involves injuries, disease, and problems related to the central nervous system. In physical therapy the goal is to achieve maximal, independent level of function through strengthening, range of motion, coordination and balance training as well as functional activities.

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Orthopedic Physical Therapy

Orthopedic rehabilitation encompasses a wide range of injuries and problems involving the joints, muscles, tendons, ligaments, bones and peripheral nerves. In physical therapy we work to resolve pain, limited motion, gait problems, weakness, loss of function, and to prevent recurrence.

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Spinal Rehabilitation

Spinal rehabilitation refers to problems with your neck or back. Because of the unique structure of the spine and special problems related to this area, specialized training is necessary to ensure appropriate intervention.

Because the majority of problems are mechanical, relating to specific activities, postures, and habits of the individual's life style, a mechanical solution is necessary. A thorough evaluation will be performed to identify movements, positions, and activities that aggravate the condition, as well as, those that will decrease symptoms.

Sports Physical Therapy

Athletic injuries are essentially orthopedic injuries which have a sport specific component. Our goal for the athlete is to return the patient to the sport quickly, while preventing re-injuries through proper warm-up and training procedures. Our program is uncommonly effective, helping return patients to previous levels of sports activity through exercises for the trunk, upper, and lower extremities and back.  This may include jump training and proprioceptive (balance) training.
